Government Industrial Training Institute, Nashik was established in 1962 under Craftsman Training Scheme by Govt. of Maharashtra. ITI have 28 trades in Engineering and Non Engineering Field which are accredited by DGT (Govt. of India). Government Industrial Training Institute, Nashik has 30 acre green campus with well equipped workshops and classrooms for 28 trades with qualified staff. It is one of the ITI which is located in MIDC Area, Satpur MIDC Area, Nashik. It is situated on Nashik – Trimbakeshwar Road in Satpur, Nashik. ITI is Approximately. 4.5 kilometers away from Bus Station and Approximately. 16 Kilometers from Nashik Road Railway Station.
Government Industrial Training Institute, Nashik is known for excellent Skills, Technical training and its good Industrial relationship for getting jobs to trainees in Maharashtra. Government Industrial Training Institute, Nashik was organized many district and region level technical and sport events. World skills Competition (Region Level) was organized in ITI Nashik with collaboration of CII in 2019. ITI Nashik trainees performed well in World Skills Competition and Mr Vilas Gavit won Silver Medal at State level. ITI Nashik trainees bagged many prizes at Technical Exhibition and Sport Event. Trainees from COPA trades participated in Departmental State level Technical Exhibition and won First Prize for “LiFI Technology” project at state level competition.
National Social Service (NSS) in ITI Nashik is very actively participated in Government’s Programms and organised Various Awareness Camp. Mr. Dattatray Jadhav from ITI Nashik was awarded with “Best NSS Volunteers” in State by Govt. of Maharashtra. Last year, trainees from Electronics Mechanics Trades developed Automatic Sanitizer Machine under Aatmanirbhar Mission. In Government Industrial Training Institute, Nashik Instructors have developed technical online academics notes for all trades during pandemic. During Pandemic, they have conducted hundreds of online lectures, mock test and also shared thousands of videos related to trades for trainees. Some Instructors from ITI Nashik have developed “ITI World” android Apps for ITI trainees and also write books and developed online study material for Engineering Drawing and Workshop Calculation which is publically available at website of Regional office, Nashik.
