Our Contributions to the Sunburn 2023 Spectacle:
Theme Integration & Stage Concept Detailing: The festival’s theme required a design that mimicked the mystery and grandeur of the wild jungles and nature’s mythical discoveries. Our team translated this creative vision into a detailed structural and aesthetic plan for the various stages.
Production Set-Up & Technical Execution: We managed the complex logistics and setup for the world-class technological installations across the venue, ensuring all visual elements supported the high-octane performances.
Scale and Scope: This involved preparing the site for massive structural demands, including a main stage that reportedly towered 100-feet high and spanned 300-feet wide.
Visual Engineering: Our plans encompassed the precise placement and coordination of hundreds of lights, numerous lasers, and advanced SFX pyrotechnics to deliver the quintessential “Sunburn” visual experience.
Layout and Site Marking: With over 120 artists performing across multiple distinct stages (including the Enchanted Forest Main Stage and others), we were responsible for the detailed spatial planning to optimize crowd flow, seating zones, and the placement of experiential areas like food courts and flea markets.
Onsite Support & Management: DHub ensured seamless execution throughout the four-day carnival. Our onsite supervision provided the necessary production support to guarantee that every transition, from day sets to the headlining spectaculars by artists like Hardwell and Charlotte De Witte, was flawless.
Our design expertise contributed directly to creating the larger-than-life, all-encompassing experience that cemented Sunburn Goa 2023 as a landmark event in the global electronic dance music calendar.
