Patliputra Sports Complex Transformation: We meticulously designed the main venue, the Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna, to host the Opening Ceremony, which was attended by dignitaries and thousands of athletes. The design focused on integrating cutting-edge visual technology with thematic elements that paid homage to Bihar’s heritage.
Cultural & Thematic Integration: The ceremony’s aesthetic theme, “Khel Ke Rang, Bihar Ke Sang” (Colors of Sports, with Bihar), was brought to life through intricate set design and projection mapping. The visual narrative showcased:
The official mascot, Gajasimha (symbolizing the strength of an elephant and the courage of a lion), derived from the ancient Pala dynasty’s heritage.
Iconic imagery from Bihar’s history, including the Mahabodhi Temple and Nalanda University, alongside Madhubani Art, were integrated into the set and video content.
Technical and Logistical Mastery: Given the event’s scale—over 8,500 athletes and numerous delegates—our team executed flawless event management across the massive venue. This included:
Stage Engineering: Designing a structurally sound and visually dynamic stage for live cultural performances and the virtual address by the Prime Minister.
Event Flow: Planning the seamless movement of over 6,000 athletes during the march past and managing VIP seating and logistical zones within the complex.
Production Support: Providing end-to-end technical production, including lighting, audio, and large-scale video display, to ensure the opening ceremony was broadcast-ready and visually captivating for a national audience.
DHub’s expertise ensured the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 began with a powerful celebration of youth sports, national unity, and the rich cultural legacy of the host state, Bihar.
