1 Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all services, web applications, and notification gateways operated under the Easy Vendor Core infrastructure. By registering an account, submitting KYC verification documents, browsing vendor listings, revealing contact details, or submitting verified customer reviews, you acknowledge and consent to the data practices described herein.
2 Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to facilitate genuine local connections, authenticate user identities, and protect against fraudulent listings:
- Vendor Business Profiles: Full business name, contact person name, 10-digit mobile number, email address, physical workshop/shop address, selected service categories, coverage service areas, working hours, and specialisations.
- Customer Inquiries & Contact Reveals: When a customer clicks to reveal a vendor’s phone number, we record customer name, mobile number, timestamp, and IP address to prevent scraping and deliver immediate lead alerts to the vendor.
- Verified Reviews: Customer reviewer name, invoice or job number reference, star rating, and descriptive review comments.
- Device & Telemetry Data: Browser user agent, IP address, referral source, and session cookies for OTP verification and rate limiting.
3 KYC & Verification Documents
To maintain directory integrity, vendors submit government-recognized identification documents during registration:

4 How We Use Your Information
Information collected is utilized exclusively for platform operations and service fulfillment:
- To create, verify, and publish vendor directory listings on search and service category pages.
- To process secure OTP logins, password resets, and account authentications.
- To audit customer invoice/job reference numbers before publishing ratings to prevent fake negative or paid reviews.
- To enforce subscription limits (service area count and plan tiers) via Paid Memberships Pro integration.
- To investigate and remediate abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms & Conditions.
5 Customer Contact Reveal Logs
Easy Vendor employs an interactive Contact Reveal system. When a directory visitor requests a vendor's contact number:
- The customer inputs their name and mobile number.
- An immediate SMS lead alert is dispatched to the vendor containing the customer's contact details.
- A permanent lead record is maintained in the vendor’s private dashboard under Customer Inquiries to help the vendor follow up on prospective business.
6 SMS, WhatsApp & Regulatory Compliance
Easy Vendor complies with all TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) and DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) guidelines for telecommunications:
7 Cookies & Session Management
We use essential, secure session cookies to keep you logged in to your Vendor Dashboard, remember search preferences, and prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF). We do not deploy intrusive third-party cross-site advertising cookies.
8 Data Retention & Right to Delete
Vendors have full control over their account information. You may update your profile details at any time through your Vendor Dashboard.
If you wish to permanently delete your listing and account, you may submit a removal request. When an administrator removes a vendor listing, our system synchronously deletes the public profile, uploaded KYC documents, and the linked WordPress user account in compliance with data privacy standards.
